'I just wish I had someone to talk to.'
About the Community
They say kids don't come with handbooks.
So let's write one together.
When a friend was struggling with her 15-year-old, she said 'I just wish I had someone to talk to. Someone who wouldn't judge me for the decisions my kid is making. Someone who's been there, done that, and can give me REAL advice about what to do.'
And so ParenT(w)een Connection was born.
Our Facebook group has parents from around the world who all deal with the same challenges of raising teenagers in a world that has changed a lot since our day.
Join us in a safe, nonjudgemental space to watch, learn, and ask for insight! Also check out our Facebook group & Facebook page for information about our upcoming events.
In response to the coronavirus, we started a sister group for ALL parents who are trying to figure out how to deal with their kids - and spouses! - at home, 24/7. Come on over!
Local, In-person Communities - Coming soon!
We started hosting in-person get-togethers just before the world shut down thanks to coronavirus. One of the comments a number of parents made was about how much they appreciated having the opportunity to connect with other parents in person, because so many other resources are only available online.
So, in 2023, we plan to launch local communities, led by select members of our Trusted Expert Network. You'll get together at least once a month to learn, to socialize, or to give back to your local community.
Be sure to join our Facebook groups to stay in touch & learn more!
"I appreciate so many things about the sense of community of The ParenTween Connection. From the other parents sharing their experiences, the great links to community services, and the advice from like-minded parents, it's just an awesome and needed resource!'
